North Carolina

Okay so I missed a few days. Our stay in Raleigh was one of my favorites so far. Our good friend Marco and his wonderful girlfriend Luva put us up and even made us hot dogs and sausage on the grill on Thursday night. Jeff and Danny got some ink from Marco and we all bought a few souveniers at Luva's super cool shop, Southern Swank. The show at Slims was fun and we got a free case of PBR ! Special thanks to Joe and Jim from The Bleeding Hearts for booking us.

We are now in Wilmington, NC and we had our best show so far at Bela Festa opening up for Mooney Suzuki, a great band also from NYC. The acoustic show at The Folks Cafe was super intimate, if you know what I mean, but I got to take requests from a few of our biggest fans, Tom and Meg who have been a huge help to us down here. We are staying with our old pal Billie in her wonderfully comfortable house and are having a blast with her sweet doggie, Max.

Today we head to Nashville to wrap up the tour. Although I miss my girl and my bed, I am a bit sad that we are almost through with our journey. Things have gone so well and I have confirmed my belief that the road is a place for me. We hope to get back out as soon as possible and continue this quest for whatever it is we're looking for.
